I was like "Dafuq is a Honedge?"

I haven't played X or Y yet.

Is it me or are the Pokemon getting stupider and more retarded looking every year?

I thought the Snowcone looking one was the lowest point..... but a sword??? Talk about uncreative.

But yeah Man at Arms is pretty dope.

I've played Y but not any 4th/5th generation games. The sword is stupid but the Pokemon that transforms into home appliances was worse in my opinion.

Its a cool video though. I love Man at Arms.

Uncreative? I dunno, I'm pretty sure there were older pokemon that were worse. Eggsecute for example. Or Voltorb, a pokeball. And its evolution Electrode. An UPSIDE-DOWN pokeball!

Home appliances...?

I'm kinda glad I haven't kept up with pokemon now

That's Rotom, a Ghost/Electric type, "motor" backwards.  You caught him originally by talking to a dead air/static TV in a haunted house.  You can find a room, with persistent prodding, that allows you to change his type into a plethora of other types.  I picked the refrigerator option to deal with Ground types.

Resident Pokemon Super Nerd at your service.

I'm laughing at this whole thread.

What the actual fuck is even going on in Pokémon anymore. "Refrigerator type"? Strong against "Perishable type", I bet.

XD

Well, no, turning him into a refrigerator just makes him an Electric/Ice type combo (over Electric/Ghost originally.)

I agree, a lot of people complain about new pokemon, but honestly I chalk that up to nostalgia blindness.

Gen III was my favorite as it rekindled my love for Pokemon when it was nearly dead after the disappointing Gen II.  If I had to say what was the worst overall generation (games, Pokemon designs, overall atmosphere and storyline, etc.,) I'd give it to Gen II.

And what the fuck was with all those "unknown" Pokémon or whatever? Seriously!

Oh, sorry, Unown.

What.

Pokeball and upside-down pokeball

Very unique
