This filled me with so much nostalgia that I am having a hard time accepting that I will never be as happy as I was when this was my world.

I can honestly say I don't know any of these things.

Must be an American thing.

Okay, first off

"But if you’re sick, don’t worry. This guy has your back all day on long on TV:"

Proofread articles, damn it.

Also, these:

enhanced-buzz-17546-1346792369-12.jpg

My twelve year old niece may play with Monster High, but girls when I was a kid didn't.

All of that aside, I liked this very much. Dunkaroos and surge are an awesome combo. Sugar with sugar cookies washed down with hyper-caffeinated sugar water. The Giver is a great read, even as an adult. And it goes without saying that the bulk of my time was wasted on my old SNES.

Affray, why do you always make me feel so damn old and bitter all the time?

On a related note, I picked up an Adventure Time choose your own adventure book the other day and have been kicking around the idea of writing my own as a side project. With the advent of HTML programing in epub form I see picking one up on a nook or ipad and clicking your way to fun in your free time. Those were my fav as a kid, whether it was Zork or a Super Mario version on our vacation to South Dakota

My first novel, Seeds of Magic- Barnes & Noble, Smashwords, Kobo, Sony Store

>.> those fucking scooter things. Got my hand messed up pretty bad by one of those once.

Also very few of those had anything to do with 5th grade. Most had more to do with 1st and second.

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Socialist.

Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Trade Unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me-- and there was no one left to speak for me.

I'll admit it; the stinky cheese man hit me with a wave of nostalgia.  I have fond memories of many of these things but I do NOT miss school.  I don't miss grade school, I don't miss Middle School, and I don't miss High school.

I remember some of this stuff, but not really a lot

So no real nostalgia at all for me

Because I can...

And Canadian.

I have no idea what went down in the UK during my childhood.

I assume it was filled with Marmite and silly accents.

SURGE! To remind you of when it was legal to sell a powerful acid under the guise of a soda.

I remember everything on that thread.  The only thing missing is POGs, and Power Rangers.

Holy tits, POGs.

I had a mighty collection of POGs, and slammers to make you giddy with contempt.

Also, Crazy Bones.

They were neat, and taught you about creepy Greco Roman children's games.

My parents got me a GIANT collector set of POGs for Christmas a fucking week before the whole world stopped giving a shit about them.

I opened the box once.

Fuck yeah, Skip-it.

Also, that clock was the Nickelodeon Time Blaster.

I remembered that sitting in the car today.
