I'm even more disappointed with my corporate connection than before.  Especially when it says I'm in San Diego (opposite coast) and a speed Test to Washington D.C. Times out.

Wifi isnt secure enough for the security "gurus" yet.  It sucks being a software engineer, and dealing with ridiculous policies designed to keep a secretary off facebook and on task. You should see how much shit gets installed on a workstation w/ our corporate image.  Makes the corei7 stutter step constantly.

just saying even though it's extremely secure, the corporate security office doesnt allow wifi access to our internal domain... aka my connection is that slow while connected to 1Gbps Ethernet.

well, you should have done the test at dreamhack in sweden, they had the world record 120gbit/s, thats  12000mbit/s its insane. Well i'm planning on getting 1000mbit which they are setting up here in gothenburg right now, its awesome! Right now I only have 8mbit and it sucks.
