Akira, did you ever give Link to the Past a try? It really is amazing.

I may have. I honestly don't remember which ones I've played, beyond Twilight Princess and Ocarina of Time, both of which are pretty awful imo.

Link To The Past is my favourite.
After that the whole series got weird for me.
It is perfectly acceptable to fear and admire a being you could not possibly understand.

Because Link to the Past was the last Zelda that was true to the original idea. That and a fair amount of romanticizing of the mind of adults. The idea dosn't function quite as well with the new systems, that's why TwilPrin and SkySwrd seemed like shit to me.
My first novel, Seeds of Magic- Barnes & Noble, Smashwords, Kobo, Sony Store

I fully enjoyed Wind Waker. I found sailing to be very relaxing and exciting. I had a good time with the mini-games like mail sorting, and I found that the difficulty was ... how shall I say... within my reach.
I still have trouble saying the title, however, as my mom would take every opportunity whilst I was playing it to call it "Wind Wanker."

I still feel that the reason some people are starting to fall off of zelda is because the games just feel too "by the numbers"

Me and my friend just plugged in the NES and the SNES on an old tv, and decorated a room in his house. Popped in The Legend of Zelda, and right now we are playing A link to the past! I must say those games are timeless. Just amazing games. My favorite two in the series, not sure which one is the best yet.
