So THQ is doing a giveaway. Like their Facebook page (found HERE) and get a free copy of Metro 2033. I didn't particularly like it the first time I played it, but I'm willing to give it another try, especially since it's free >.>

I want to try it. Not because it looks interesting, I don't even know what it's about, but because apparently it's a beautiful game.

It's hard to describe it really. From what I remember it's set in Russia or something similar, and the premise is similar to the Fallout games. Radiation, bombs etc. have driven the remaining populace underground, mutated creatures and shit. Also bullets are currency, which I thought was a very neat touch.

I remember playing this game when it came out. It is a good looking game. It is a monster when it comes to resources though, it will suck your PC dry. But I enjoyed it. The sequel is coming out soon.

I almost went through the trouble to get the game.

A friend of mine has this game, he says its pretty alright.

So currently in the steam holiday sale, the THQ bundle includes metro 2033, and about 20 other games, including Red Faction, Saints Row the Third, Dark siders 1 and 2, and a couple Warhammer titles. all for under $25.
