Technically on an emulator, but still a console game. It just reminded me how unforgiving it is if you forget to save at every single point before doing anything. >.>

I made a mistake on the first Black Waltz and got sent back to just before I rescue the princess in the Evil Forest.

If you're using an emulator, you should be able to do save states

kinda outdates the old save point system

still, good choice in game

take five steps, that a quick save
come to a cave, that's a quick save
quest objective getting close, that's a quick save
hear roaring in the distance, oh you better believe that's a quick save

You guys need to man up >.> When I first got a PS2, I only got one game for it. An RPG called Summoner. My parents neglected to buy me a memory card, so I couldn't save the game.

I completed it by leaving the console on overnight for 3-4 days total, and I didn't die ONCE because no respawn system, no ability to save, no nothing.

THAT is true terror >.> especially when a certain plot device left you unable to block enemy attacks because you no longer had a shield/the ability to powergrip.

It really was, actually. Marathoning/no-save runs on games are awesome. Sadly games lately tend to focus a lot on artificial difficulty rather than actual difficulty.

I was one of the top players on schthack once Sonic Team closed down the official BB servers >.> Was one of the few to own a non-hacked Dark Flow, solo'd for my Sealed-J Sword (and unlocked it legitimately into Tsumikiri-J) and had a real Agito.
