I have noticed that I've been sticking to a certain type of movie as of late and it's been super boring, so I've started just watching movies I've heard anything about and this one was on the list.

I just finished it, and I really enjoyed it.
I did not expect to, and I honestly cannot tell you why, but I really liked it.

Awesome cast too.

I thought this thread was gonna be about the old Hannah Barbara cartoon Birdman

I've been rewatching that cuz I'm on a nostalgia trip for old, bad HB cartoons

Birdman was better thasn I thought it was going to be,

Which was nice.

I am partial to Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law.

What?... Oh. Oh! you were expecting a joke there. Too easy! Now, if he'd been Peter Peckapickle von Peenie, née Peter Peenie Peckerpickle; Waldo Lang Schnitzeldong; or Sarah Plain-and-Tall - *any* of those - then we got something!

Yeah I think it was super heavy in its suggestion of Batman the entire time.

Maybe.

At least it isn't Beetlejuice.

As far as I unstand it, the whole thing was supposed to draw lines between Michael Keaton's Career after Batman and Birdman.

Big hit in the past, sort of washed up and trying to kick start his career.

That's the conclusion I came to as well.

I thought the jabs at Iron Man and other superheros were pretty fun.
